Badon discusses early life and education in St. Martinville, his experiences as a cadet at LSU, as a county agent, and as a teacher, coach, and principal. He tells of anthrax vaccinations, introduction of fertilizer in sugar cane farming, and the spread of information in rural areas. He also relates his four months of military duty during WWI and a visit by Theodore Roosevelt to Iberia Parish. Time period covered includes 1900-1995.
